thermography
|
Thermography can quickly and accurately document problem areas in your
electrical and mechanical equipment. Loose or oxidized electrical connections,
unbalanced electrical loads, overloaded electrical circuitry and improperly
Installed or insufficiently lubricated bearings will show up clearly through the
use of the infrared imaging equipment. The recorded heat emission allows for
accurate identification of potential problem areas. Thermographic inspection
targets high and low voltage connections, bus run, transformers, switch gear,
motor control center, motors, and rotating equipment. Inspections are conducted
while the facility is in full operation. Picture of Sample Point Surveys

Roofing Inspection
|
Infrared testing of roofing systems allows a thermographer to locate water
damaged areas and identify emerging problems before they become costly.
A quick, accurate, nondestructive thermographic inspection may also
eliminate unnecessary roof replacement. |
Inspection Report
|
Recommendations are prioritized in to three categories: Where immediate
corrective action is necessary; where corrective action should be taken as
soon as possible; and where corrective action should be taken at the next
scheduled shutdown. The inspection is followed by an exit conference to
review and discuss the findings. VCD documentation of the
inspection, including computer enhanced photos of problem areas and a
formal, written report are delivered within two days of the completion of the
inspection. |
Ultrasonic Inspection
|
Package this important inspection feature with Infrared surveys. "Ultrasonic Technology"
uses high pitch frequencies to inspect for pressure and vacuum leaks, electrical emissions,
bearing failure, motor failure, underground leaks, steam traps, etc. |
Floor Underground Inspection
|
Infrared testing of
flooring underground systems allows a thermographer to locate
radiant heater elements and identify damage areas and identify emerging problems before they become costly.
A quick, accurate, nondestructive thermographic inspection may also
eliminate unnecessary flooring breaking and diggings. |
Ceiling and Wall
Moisture Inspection
|
Infrared testing of
Ceiling and wall systems allows a thermographer to locate Moisture and identify damage areas
that has water and cold air leaks. Identify emerging problems before they become costly.
A quick, accurate, nondestructive thermographic inspection may also
eliminate unnecessary ceiling and wall breaking and replace just the damage
area. |
